Cleaning The Product
Wood is a living material. In spite of the superior quality of the species we use, it constantly has to adapt to changes in temperature and humidity. So, to keep the wood in good condition it will require some regular maintenance.
Regular Cleaning
Schedule regular maintenance to prolong the life of your garden furniture. Regular maintenance ensures that it will always look at its best.
Cleaning the wood regularly with a damp cloth ensures that liquids can’t penetrate too deep into the wood. to remove stubborn dirt, simply use a hard brush and some water. Be careful not to damage the fibers. For this reason, you should never wash it with a high-pressure washer.
Thorough Cleaning
It is essential to give your outdoor furniture a thorough cleaning twice a year. We recommend cleaning the wood on a humid cloudy day which allows the wood to dry out slowly.
Dampen the surface of your furniture using a garden hose. pour some of our wood cleaner onto a hard nylon brush and begin scrubbing the table in the direction of the wood grain. Rinse thoroughly to remove all the foam and allow to dry for 24 hours. Rougher parts can be sanded with 120 grit sandpaper. We highly recommend treating the wood with the Providence Wood Protector to protect it from dirt, moisture and UV rays.
